Society of Extension Education GujaratAbstract: This study was undertaken to construct a scale to measure the job satisfaction level of scientists in agricultural universities of Gujarat state. The scale consists of thirteen main items such as compensation, promotion, training & development, career development, leadership style, welfare facilities, recognition/rewards, communication, working condition, work load, working facilities, job security and social status. For this study appropriate sub items beside main items were also documented. The consistency and legitimacy of the scale was established through suitable methods.
